Morey has a lot of friends at work, but he does have several favorites. One of his best buddies is Martha, who works in Judicial Services at UT. Their friendship was cemented the day they met when Morey turned himself into a pretzel at her feet in order to better position himself for a butt scratch. Since that time, Morey perks up whenever he sees Martha and doesn't hesitate to throw himself at her feet for some cuddles and pets. Since Martha is often dealing with stressful situations, she often drops by my office for some "Morey time" . Usually by the time she leaves our office she is clothed with Morey hair but she never seems to mind this "gift" that Morey bestows upon her.
Sadly for us, Martha recently took a position at another university and will be leaving UT. Although it won't be the same, hopefully Martha can stay up to date on all Morey's adventures via this blog. I am not exactly sure how she is going to reciprocate by delivering long distance butt scratches though...
